Gold SAP Club Program Status 2022
Eastern Suburbs FC (Easts FC) is pleased to confirm it has been awarded Gold SAP Club Program Status for 2022. This is the highest level of accreditation a club can hold. Football Queensland introduced the SAP Rating Regulations for SAP licensed clubs to assist its clubs to achieve best practice skill development for players, protect SAP Licensee clubs’ investment and create a quality assurance process and compliance in line with the SAP License Agreement. A focused effort has been committed to this process by the Club. We want to congratulate all our staff and coaches for their efforts during the past 3 years. Easts FC will not rest on it’s laurels as we continue to strive to be a leading club in SEQ for SAP, NPL and NPLW.

Skill Acquisition Program (SAP)
Eastern Suburbs FC is proud to have both Girls and Boys Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) licenses. Easts are one of the few SAP Clubs in QLD that have 3 SAP girls teams. This allows us to put our U11 and U12 girls into teams that suit their current development level where they are inn a position to maximise their development. SAP is the highest level U9-U12 can play at in Australia.
The ages of 9-12 years is the golden age of learning technique which FFA call the Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP). The focus at this age is on the development of game related functional skills.
At Eastern Suburbs FC, players within the U9 – U12 SAP Program are undertaking a training and game development philosophy which has the opportunity to elevate them to the National Premium League (NPL).
